New Teammate Welcome
What you’ll do
In this 30-minute event, you’ll set the right tone with your latest hire, easing their stress and the awkwardness of being new. You’ll also help the rest of your team adapt to the shift in dynamics every new hire brings, paving the way for healthy relationships across the board. The event includes a mix of 1-on-1 and small-group conversations covering fun and thought-provoking topics alike: fun projects, inside jokes, and energizing parts of the work, preferred ways of working.
Hosting tips:
- Strong attendance and participation is an important part of any welcome event. Consider building excitement by mentioning it in team meetings, 1-on-1s, etc. ahead of the new hire’s arrival.
- New hires need to meet and work well with people from other teams, too. Schedule our Cross-Team Conversation for a later date.
- Ready to set up a welcome party to remember? Create your New Teammate Welcome, schedule it, and make some serious headway on your onboarding to-do list.
